The 2016 Baja Ha-Ha started Monday with some 180 boats registered for the cruising rally from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas. Four crew accompanied by coach Paul headed south on our J/World entry, Vanishing Girl. Here are some pictures from the start:

Vanishing Girl looking good with the Code 0 up

The fleet is now in Turtle Bay. Captain Paul is reporting a fast windy run down the coast. With breeze in the 18 to 25 knot range the whole way, they had Vanishing Girl hitting 15 knots at times. They ran with a double reefed main and 50% jib poled out nights and were about the 5th boat into the anchorage. Looks like the forecast is for lighter breeze on the next leg, but for now everyone is enjoying R&R in Turtle Bay!

More details soon!
