MEXORC
Clinic and Regatta

MEXORC is one sweet event.  It began in the 60’s, and is now a truly fantastic gathering of sailors and boats.  It immediately follows the San Diego to Puerto Vallarta Race, so many of the offshore thoroughbreds stick around for the festivities, and the impressive fleet in Acapulco makes the trip up the coast to join in the fun.  The five day event boasts distance style point-to-point races touring Banderas Bay, inter-spliced with buoy racing days.  In addition to all the great sailing in tropical conditions, the social events sponsored by the organizers are usually fantastic.  Seriously, you don’t want to miss this one!  For more on this regatta, see here.
