J/World Sailing is flexible to meet your schedule. With multiple locations, we regularly have numerous options to help you meet your sailing goals. All of our courses are scheduled based on demand, with most classes requiring a minimum enrollment of two students.
Please note that most of our classes running are not listed on this calendar… we simply cannot fit everything on here and have it still be usable.  Courses listed on this calendar are confirmed courses with current availability. Contact us to reserve a berth, or if you desire alternate dates please let us know.
Join us in SD for one of our Advanced Boat Handling courses. The perfect place for skippers and crews to polish their skills which will build their boat handling and advanced sail trim skills. Spinnaker and sail handling, crew communication, workflow analysis, boathandling drills, etc. are all standard.

The Learn to Sail Class from J World Sailing School is designed to provide the essential foundation of sailing skills. This class is conducted at our San Diego Sailing Center in San Diego Bay!
Our offshore racing training program starts in San Francisco and spends a series of days going over offshore safety requirements, best practices, sail selection, sail handling, optimal course routing, and onboard equipment before we set off on a real passage. 500 miles south to San Diego. Join us for a 5 Day Liveaboard Cruising course exploring Southern California setting sail from San Diego bay. This course is a great way to obtain Basic Cruising or Bareboat Cruising Certifications and gain the skills and confidence you need for offshore cruising and/or coastal cruising adventures.
