Fractional Sailing Program
Boat Share by J/World is the no-fuss performance sailing program from J/World, the Performance Sailing School and Club. This is the best fractional program available. We work with individuals who want to own and sail exceptional boats to create a member group for each boat and offset the owner’s monthly expenses. We enable those who simply want to sail to pay a flat-rate monthly fee and sail a great boat!
For sailors, this means that you can get a fractional membership in a great boat for a low monthly fee… for a little more than the slip fees plus insurance costs associated with single ownership, you can get out sailing! Only direct members of a particular boat get to sail the boat, so you know all the partners in it, and you know that your boat is being taken care of.
Boats You Want to Sail
BoatShare by J/World Sailing School and Club makes it possible for you to sail the boat you WANT to sail: modern performance sailboats with asymmetrical spinnakers flying off bowsprits, easily managed by just a couple of crew. Boats from 26 to 45 feet.
Member Benefits
So what does it mean to become a BoatShare by J/World member? Simply put, it means that you are a fractional sailing partner (non-equity) in a boat of your choosing. The boat is shared by limited number of other partners, and only these partners sail the boat.
All of the costs (slip fees, insurance, maintenance, etc.) are covered. You pay only a flat monthly fee, which is far below what it would cost to purchase and maintain a boat (usually, it is slightly more than slip feels alone would cost you).
Enjoy your boat just as you would if you owned it, including day sails and overnights at marinas, yacht clubs or anchorages – even your yacht club cruise-out. You can use it for weekends or even full weeks at a time. Of course, certain booking rules regulate the booking of the boat to insure fair access, however you will get two to three weekend uses per month, and plenty of mid-week access.

Owner Benefits
If you own a boat from 30′ to 50′ or are looking to purchase one, and are interested in diminishing the costs of ownership, BoatShare by J/World is a great option. J/World locates qualified sailors to become partners in the boat, sharing the expenses and the sailing time. You remain the full equity owner of the vessel, however as members join your monthly costs diminish to zero, until you are sailing for free (or making money)!
